So my issue is that i can't use magnet link. Whenever i get on website like piratebay and i press on get this torrent, absolutely nothing happens. For the download link and when I clicked on it uTorrent opened for that file. 1) Find the magnet torrent file. 2) Right click the little magnet icon in Chrome, then copy the URL. 3) Launch uTorrent / Torrent software of your choice. 4) Click “Add Torrent from URL” 5) Paste magnet link into field, press enter. 6) Download Starts. 6 steps, not bad if you just wanted to download a file or two.
Torrent client can't download Metadata.

I have had problem downloading torrents for a couple of months now. No matter which client I use, I always get the same error. The Metadatas won't download. My torrent stays stuck at connecting to peers without actually downloading anything.

We tried torrents from various source, we also tried magnet link vs directly downloading the torrent folder. I tried to delete the cache and deleting the resume.dat file. I have also tried downloading with and without my vpn activated, to no avail.

The worst in all that, is that my girlfriend moved away two weeks ago and her torrents just started working out of nowhere! We simply can't figure out why some computers will download, and some won't. Why some networks will work, and some won't.

Download And Install Utorrent
I would like to download just a few albums from a discography and when I open the .torrent in uTorrent, the window allowing me to select different files opens but when I select the ones I need and press OK it starts dowloading the whole thing.I also tried 'skipping' the files I didn't need in the lower tab and setting the ones I wanted on 'high priority', it still didn't work.
I've already done that many times before and it always worked. I'm all out of ideas to fix that problem so any help is welcome. Breath of the nes v2 download.

Can't Download Torrent From Url Utorrent Pc
You've to do this before you start downloading. Get the torrent / download and add it. Immediately stop it (pause it I mean, but for MAC it is just stop) so that the download doesn't proceed beyond 0%.
On the 'View' tab above your utorrent application screen, choose 'Enable details pane'
You will now see a details pane appear in your utorrent. You'll see 5 tabs, 'General', 'Tracker', 'Files', 'Peers', 'Speed'. Select 'Files' tab.
Now you must see all the individual files inside the package listed. If you don't, then delete torrent, files and start again from step 1.
Once you see them individual files, select one or many by holding down Command key. Right click and choose 'Do not download'.
Done. Now you can see that those files selected such will have a 'skip' mentioned next to them and those continuing to download a 'normal' next to them.
Don't delete the skipped files in the download directory yet. It could affect your download. Once downloaded fully, and you've chosen to stop and remove the torrent from utorrent (if not seeding), then you can delete the unwanted files.
