Now Origin won't download any games. The error message I get is We're sorry, Origin was unable to download your game. Please check your internet.

  • Go to Origin. Right click on Sims 4, click View Game Details. You should see Get to Work. Right click on it, and click download. Boom!

    Under my games in sims 4 base folder, it'll appear to be allowed to download now

  • I just went to the link in origin that had the game grayed out and am downloading now
  • It downloaded automatically for me. No download button needed.
  • Weird. It's not showing up on my Mac for some reason. I've contacted EA customer support to see if they can help at all.

  • i am on pc and its just grayed out, i am also having the same issue, no download button and i have had this pre ordered for over a month, do no idea what is going on.
  • Go to Origin. Right click on Sims 4, click View Game Details. You should see Get to Work. Right click on it, and click download. Boom!

    I pre-ordered it a few hours ago and was confused why it didn't show up in 'My Games' section, I was about to post a thread! I think I had to do the same thing when I downloaded the Holiday Pack and Outdoor..Dunno.

    i have tried this and it the game get to work is grayed out, and it has no dl option, it just says comes out on the 31 at 12:00 am

    I had to contact EA support. They said it was because they had yet to charge my card. I told them to charge it, and they said it was on the bank's end. I knew that couldn't be the case so I canceled my original order, bought it again, and now it is downloading, heh.

    see that cant be true for me sadly, if i go to my bank web sight and go back to when i payed for it, it says that they took my money and it has cleared my account so not sure why i cant play it.
  • Look on the Origin browser under 'Origin' then 'Download Queue.' That helped me.

  • To download GTW open origin at under my games hover cursor over sims 4 icon and select i, click on the GTW icon to install
  • Go to Origin. Right click on Sims 4, click View Game Details. You should see Get to Work. Right click on it, and click download. Boom!

    It didn't show the 'download' button for me, either. Did you click on 'View Game Details' while right clicked on Sims 4 under 'my games'? In the View Game details, it was there, but I had to update Outdoor Retreat first, then I was able to download GTW. I had to hover over the GTW picture and then choose download. Hopefully, this helps!

    are you officially able to DL the game, like the some areas what to wait until the 2nd. also at origin under account and privacy check purchases to confirm the game is showing up as bought
