I have an account that I have set to download headers only and not the full message, because it gets a TON of spam. (Domain catch-all account) So it sends the majority of the spam to it's trash folder. The problem is quite a few valid messages get sent to the Trash folder, which isn't a problem. The problem is they then have the 'Click here to download the rest of the message'. When I click on it, the message disappears and is NOWHERE to be found. I've compacted all my folders, searched all my email folders, looked in my anti-virus quarantine, and searched my entire computer and these valid message's have literally completely disappeared! I'm baffled and unable to find any further info to help me find these messages. Any ideas?~BZ
I have a mailbox that can only operate in header only mode for Outlook. Utorrent wont download anything anymore. Header mode sucks to use day-to-day. What I want to do is set Outlook to header only mode for the entire mailbox, BUT automatically download full-items for all newly arrived messages.

I think the simplest approach is to check for the download state property (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/VBA/Outlook-VBA/articles/mailitem-downloadstate-property-outlook) if it is not downloaded, then 'Download teh rest of this message now'.
All of this would happen with a new mail item event. I am NOT a programmer. I know nothing. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

The message will be downloaded on demand when you touch it with the Outlook Object Model.
